During the military dictatorship in Argentina between 1976 and 1983, 30 000 people kidnapped, tortured and murdered (known as “the disappeared”). In this process, about 500 children of the disappeared victims were also abducted and given to the military families, crimes were planned by the Argentine military supported by their Catholic beliefs. The fate of children who were found has been studied in this thesis.

This study is associated with psychoanalytic anthropology: Freudian theory shows the unconscious conditions of the social and deciphers the ideals and ideologies (such as military and religious), and the manifestation psychic processes in a social environment. The psychoanalytical interviews were conducted victims of state terrorism in Argentina. We have identified the specificities of psychological distress of abducted people: from the moment of their appropriation until their localization, where they find themselves in between two families with irreconcilable values. It is observed that the reaction to the death of the subjects biological parents is particular to each case.

The socio-historical study show that once the subject is found (and this finding is made public) his or her social adjustment overcomes the strict acknowledgment of their individual rights and further psychical violence added to their personal situation. The objective of this study is to evaluate the clinical studies Freudian logic. To support this, was necessary to deconstruct the different categories of social discussions on existing publications.
